Born and raised in Micoud village in St Lucia until he was thirteen, Gilson Lubin attended the Micoud Secondary School before he moved to Canada to take advantages of opportunities unavailable to him on island. The STAR contacted Lubin as he was in Calgary, Canada, to explore a profession unusual to his native land.
The STAR was curious to find out how the 35-year-old decided to pursue a career in comedy as opposed to other so-called prestigious professions.
